The MS2 LED is fully integrated with A.R.M.S.’s most compact #17S throw lever mount for easy attachment to Picatinney rails, and quick detachment for servicing. The throw lever mount ensures positive engagement and prevents loosening from vibration resulting from weapon firing as would be the case with screw mounts. An optional safety pin is available for securing the throw lever. The MS2 LED has a double O-ring seal in all connections for fail-safe and redundant protection against water leakage.

The MS2 LED is preconfigured with a TR3 straight-cord tri-mode remote pressure pad switch. Positioned in momentary mode, the light can be activated by pressing the remote pressure pad. Turn the tail-cap slightly to select constant-on mode. Constant-on switches the light on continuously without pressing, and is also useful in the event of a remote pressure pad or cord failure. The pentagonal shape tail-cap facilitates rotation for operating the switch mechanism, including positioning the switch in lockout mode. This tail-cap is compact and light-weight, giving the system a form factor. The unit can be easily serviced in the field, including the ability to replace the front tempered glass lens if it is damaged during an unexpected frontal impact. A Field Service Kit is available separately for servicing the MS2 LED in remote locations. Each MS2-LED is individually serialized for inventory control.
